Four Corners Monument, Utah? Colorado? New Mexico? Arizona?

Simply put, the monument sits on the corner of these four states. The actual monument is kind of a let down so unless you get excited about the mere fact that you are sitting in four states at one time then it is kind of waste of time. Luckily, I am a little kid and it was pretty cool. Even better than the monument was the drive (as always). The day I went to Four Corners was the hardest day of the trip (so far) for me because I could see my surroundings changing from the desert I had fallen in love with to something different. Something greener, snowier and not littered with variations of bright reds and pinks. This was hard for me. I really was in touch with the desert. I had moments with it. Bonding moments. I can’t stop thinking about it. I feel like I am going to dream about it when I am home.

So I went to the monument, sat on it, took a couple pictures of the surrounding area and headed north into Colorado. The night before I had slept in a damn cold parking lot in Flagstaff, Arizona. My intention was to take a short power nap at 8:30, but that ended up being an 11 hour snooze across the street from a Del Taco. Speaking of which, Del Taco is truly the best thing in the world. Up there with In-N-Out Burger. Imagine a taco…like one in a commercial. That is Del Taco. It is full of deliciousness to the brim of the shell. You can’t beat that.

*sorry for re-uploading some stuff - tumblr freaked out this morning during one of its notorious down times and deleted a couple posts for some reason.
