Wichita, Kansas

American’s largest IMAX theater. Six stories tall. Think about that. This thing was so big that I had to get up from the 20th row I was sitting in and go up to near the top in order to see everything. The only movie playing was “I Am Number Four” and luckily it was a pretty good movie. Next door to the theater was a place called “Go Steaks” which prepared me a 6oz prime rib in four minutes. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Washed it down with some Cookies and Crème FroYo from the build-your-own frozen yogurt place next door.

It was a great experience and appropriate that I planned out something nerdy for the my trip. I had never seen an IMAX showing so this was a big surprised for me. I couldn’t believe how large it was when I walked in. The subtitles from the movie would have been way over my head if I stood at the bottom of the screen.

So I am caught up on updates right now. I drove out of Wichita and am currently in a Holiday Inn Express parking lot in Emporia, KS. I suppose tomorrow I am going to go to St. Louis. I have no idea what I am going to do after that. That is liberating.
